Monochrome deployed the Straker Shado
Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to enable new recipes to
be added and accessed faster.
One of the key attractions of Premier Foods’ Loyd Grossman
Sauces website is the large selection of recipes it features. Users can
search for recipes and video recipes before creating a meal and obtain
a list of required ingredients online.

Monochrome was asked to migrate this
and other functionality to a new website that would be easier to use
and navigate, and enable staff to add new recipes faster to meet the
increasing demands of home chefs using the Web for cooking advice.
Monochrome deployed Straker Shado Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
software to not only provide additional and advanced functionality to
the website, but also enable content to be updated by the company’s
staff with relatively little content management software training. The
ease of use of the Shado solution meant they were up and running in the
time it takes to cook a meal.
Monochrome also built a recipe database, searchable by ingredients, and
a plug-in for Shado that allows new recipes to be added easily,
encouraging users to make more use of the company’s sauces and
therefore drive more sales.
