A Great little success for Ruby on Rails
One of Monochrome’s longest standing customers Premier Foods asked us to create a web application that would enable their customers to find new and exciting recipes that use Premier Foods’ products. In collaboration with Monochrome and Elvis Communications, Premier Foods launched a web and television campaign to generate interest and traffic to the web site and for users to upload their recipes and ideas for other visitors to view and use.
Premier Foods had very tight deadlines to ensure that the newly updated web site was ready for their latest round of TV advertising. By using Ruby on Rails we were able to rapidly develop the new web site and deliver it ahead of schedule and on budget whilst still creating an application that far exceeded Premiers stringent requirements on site performance.
