Us Elections RIA
David Maddison pointed me in the direction of a very cool US election RIA which helps visualise the electoral college and trends in past elections.
This is another great example of RIAs being used for data visualisation.

MX Europe 2005 - Cancelled
Regretfully, due to unforeseen problems securing sponsorship, the MX Europe 2005 conference has been cancelled, and therefore postponed until further notice.
We thank everyone who showed support for their efforts and hope to be able to organise a Macromedia conference at a later date.
If we are able to increase interest in MX Europe, then we may rearrange the conference to later in the year. Please feel free to contact us.

Flex Units - Was famine now feast
Flex Units – Was famine now feast
Was famine, now feast – finally some unit testing for Flex.
In the one corner, a sourceforge project called FlexUnit which requires the updating of an XML file for all unit tests.
In the other corner an I2 endeavor named, you guessed it, FlexUnit. I would imagine will eventually have custom hooks to their soon to be released open source Enterprise framework
Cairngorm RIA microarchitecture. It has nice JavaDoc style documentation and is desperately in need of a Logo. :)
Without playing with them too much we can’t give a proper review. But in the weeks to come we will bang on them both and give our opinions.
Speaking of Unit Testing, for those in the ColdFusion community, be sure to check out CFCUnit. It is much better than its predecessor CFUnit.
And for those that don’t unit test, start. It is such an essential tool for software refactoring and agile development. A great book on this topic is Test Driven Development: By Example by Kent Beck.
